wooo hooo...

i had a great time yesterday and it makes me feel so good today.

today's chinese new year eve and we'll be having family dinner in michael's place at karawaci. will be going off to taman anggrek mal soon. tere and julie's already there. so happy. in such a holiday mood.

oo.... i feel so good.

last week's sermon notes, 8th jan

we abuse godly things for personal gain.
we become too casual about the things of god.
we exclude those who are different from us.
we neglect to pray.

and this is an example of how a prayer could be (i fill out those with examples of my own version):

I. PRAISE THE LORD
1. you are such a great god
2. you are wise
3. thank you for loving me unconditionally even though i am sinful and is not worthy of your love.

II. REJOICE IN THE THINGS HE HAS DONE
1. thank you for letting me know you
2. thank you for changing me into the person you want me to be
3. thank you for letting me a good way to pray and rejoice in your name

III. ASK HIM TO MEET THE NEEDS OF OTHERS
1. please bless my mum as she has been feeling rather low lately. please let me have the strength to be more patience to her. please let me be a good daughter to her.
2. please bless my cousin, tresia, so that she will be wise in doing her decisions. please let me be a good cousin to her.
3. please bless all my family, friends and collegue with good health. for those family, friends and collegue that has not known you, i pray that the holy spirit work his way into their hearts so that they can open their hearts to you.

IV. YOUR OWN NEEDS LAST
1. please guide me in my relationship. let me know what i should know. let me see the things that i should see. let me listen to the things that i should listen. let me do the things that i should do. i believe that your choice will always be the best for me. i leave it all in your hands.
2. please let me be a good role model at work. let me be wise and do the things that pleases you. guide me and make me a better person at work.
3. please let me be a better christian. let me be more like what you want me to be. let me do the things that you want me to do. when i am weak, please strengthen my faith in you. please let me be a testimonial of your greatness to the people around me.

please forgive me if i have done the things that does not please you today. please forgive me if i was rude. please let me be the person you want me to be. thank you for listening to all my prayers. amin.

lara djonggrang

went to lara djonggrang the second time. i was tired and did not wanna tag along, but tere insisted. being a good sport, i came along. from the time i stepped in, i did not like it. there were many weird statue, vase, paintings and objects.

i was really gay after the wine tei dinner but when i get out of lara djonggran i felt so angry. the drive home was horrible! ughhhh!

anyway, the good thing: we met angie and her family. with her hubby, sister, mum, dad and their friends. today, she just called asking for dinner. but i guess we have to reschedule because the rest of cousins are either not in the country or tired.

tini, my helper, has just been infected with chicken pocks. she seemed really worried. i think i should try to reassure her. poor girl.

had family dinner at wine tei to celebrate aunt cucu 's 55th birthday. food and atmosphere was nice. my second time there within two weeks.

the service was not exactly what we expected. waitresses were kind of slow and inexperience. but food was good. the yummy ones were sushi bomb, some fish salad that yuli had, rib eye steak, some japanese soup noodle. they have bad sashimi though.

anyway, the great thing is... this resto is a byo resto. which means we can bring our own wine. corkage charge is only rp. 50.000 per bottle. very much reasonable. i'll give wine tei an 7.5/10.

narnia

watched narnia with my friend just then. nomat night. i heard a lot of good comments about it before. it was good, but not as good as i expect it to be.

the ride to the theatre was not as smooth. cos the theatre was in the 3 in 1 area. in the end, gotta hire this 'joki' to get us there. paid the 'joki' rp. 5.000. but it was cool.

anyway, i was supposed to get some j.co donuts, but i forgot to take it off the car. arghhh... i guess i was too excited when saying goodbye. guess i will have to ask the courier in the office to pick it up tomorrow.

it was a great night.
